JD for Senior Technical Manager-Software @ ERnD

Head of Software Engineering team of R&D, responsible for overseeing the software engineering functions.
Bachelors in EC or CS, with at least 15yrs experience in Embedded Software development, Architecture and Leadership.
Manage and lead engineering teams, drive technical innovation, and align technical strategies and processes with overall business goals.
Lead teams in design, development, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software programs and applications.
Skills

Embedded and Application programming C, C++, .NET, Python, Qt, Qml, Linux, MATLAB
Architecture, Platform development and maintenance
Technical Strategy, Team Management, Product Development, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Technology Evaluation, Industry Leadership, Problem Solving
Deep understanding of the latest software engineering principles and practices, staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.
Software Quality Management standards

Responsibilities

Conceive and Implement software architecture.
Drive Modular & Platform development enabling reuse and productivity Plan and Managing project deadlines.
Review design, documentation & software deliverables done by software design engineers across the projects.

Ensuring the quality and reliability of software deliverables
Providing support to project teams in terms of design and development of software, troubleshooting, maintenance, and bug correction.

Experience in Medical domain product development preferred.
