Job Description :To be responsible for managing technology in complex projects ,providing technical guidance and ensuring succesful delivery of solutions. (1.) Key Responsibilities 1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. 2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. 3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). 4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations. DevOps Engineer Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins and Git, as well as a strong background in build and release processes. Additionally, exposure to Terraform, Python, and VMware is highly desired. Key Responsibilities Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD): Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Build and Release Management: Oversee the build and release process, ensuring that software is delivered efficiently and reliably. This includes managing version control, branching strategies, and release schedules. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform to define, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure. Ensure that infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and secure. Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. This includes creating custom scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Virtualization and Containerization: Manage and maintain virtual machines using VMware. Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance deployment flexibility and scalability. Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the organization. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues. Perform root cause analysis and develop long-term solutions to prevent recurrence. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a strong focus on CI/CD, build and release processes, and infrastructure management. Technical Skills: Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git. Experience with build and release management, including version control and branching strategies. Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. Strong scripting skills in Python. Familiarity with VMware and virtualization concepts. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
