Senior Technical Consultant IBM MDM AE

As a Senior Technical Consultant in our MDM PIM practice, you will be responsible for working on MDM projects for our Fortune 500 clients. Your duties and responsibilities will include working closely with Business Analysts and architects to implement top-notch MDM solutions, actively participating in business requirements gathering sessions, creating and obtaining sign-offs for design documents and unit test scenarios, assisting the Project Manager in planning and driving low-level project tasks, mentoring a team of technical consultants, overseeing their work items, creating release documents, aiding in building and deploying code across servers, developing high-quality code, conducting unit tests, reviewing source code developed by team members, debugging critical technical issues, providing prompt resolutions, highlighting technical issues and challenges, proposing creative solutions, aiding in recruiting high-quality resources for the Initiate MDM practice, and training junior technical resources in MDM for PIM. You should possess 7+ years of experience in software services with Big 4 experience being a strong plus, 4+ years of experience in implementing MDM solutions for PIM, 3+ years in a J2EE environment including experience with application servers like WebSphere and Weblogic, 3+ years of experience with Java and databases such as DB2 and Oracle, a strong understanding of data modeling and robust SQL skills, experience developing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture, experience with preferred Unix flavors, a general understanding of data quality concepts and ETL tools, experience with messaging software being preferred, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
