We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into functional and non-functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for process improvement or system enhancement.
- Partner with architects, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to define solution architectures leveraging AWS services (eg, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock, Redshift, etc).
- Translate GenAI capabilities (LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering) into business use cases and implementation plans.
- Support development and deployment of AI/ML and GenAI-powe'red applications.
Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and product owners to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of requirements.
- Understand APIs, data models, integration patterns, and system architectures to support solution design and troubleshooting.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical feasibility.
Process Design & Optimization
- Map existing business processes and recommend automation or optimization opportunities.
- Support digital transformation initiatives by aligning business processes with modern technologies and best practices.
Project Delivery
- Contribute to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure deliverables meet business goals and comply with technical and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on priorities.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to senior management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education:
- bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in a technical or software-focused environment.
- Proven experience in enterprise systems, data analysis, APIs, or cloud platforms (eg, AWS, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and data platforms.
- Strong understanding of APIs, system integration, and data flow architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock, RDS, API Gateway).
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (eg, OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, LangChain, vector databases like Pinecone or FAISS).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, APIs, system integrations, and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
- Familiarity with UML, BPMN, or other process modeling standards.
- Proficiency in analyzing and visualizing data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualification
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with AI ethics, governance, and model lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Python or data science workflows.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA.
