Senior Team Manager Operations

Role Overview: At DWS, we are seeking a Senior Team Manager Operations - Head of Illiquid Asset Operations India to join our team in Bangalore or Pune. In this role, you will be a key part of our Operations leadership team in DWS India, reporting directly to the Global Head of Illiquid Asset Operations in London. The Illiquid Asset Operations (IAO) team is responsible for the finance and operations of the Alternatives funds and products managed by DWS. To support business growth and ensure consistent service levels, global functional value chains will be introduced, and a new team is being established in India. As the first hire for this team, we are looking for an experienced Alternatives Operations professional to contribute to the design and build out of global processes and lead the IAO India team. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Illiquid Asset Operations Senior Leadership to define and streamline processes for global value chain support - Build and lead IAO in India, including development of a TOM, hiring, training, and collaboration with other Operations teams - Work on strategic change initiatives with the global IAO Management team, support governance and controls, and develop a global reporting framework - Make IAO in India efficient and scalable by managing resources and investments effectively - Establish standards and innovation in the AM industry, promote knowledge sharing, and act as a role model for sustainable actions in a global operating model Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant - 10-15 years of professional experience in fund finance and operations for Alternatives products - Strategic thinking, people management experience, and affinity for technology-based processes - Ability to work in global organizations, strong communication skills, and business fluency in English Additional Company Details: DWS aims to be the investment partner of choice within Asset Management.
