Job Description

As a Senior Systems Operations Engineer at Wells Fargo, you will play a crucial role in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area. Your responsibilities will include contributing to increasing system efficiencies, reducing human intervention time on tasks, and ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. You will review and analyze operational support systems, application software, and system management tools, working with vendors and technical personnel for problem resolution. Leading the team to meet technical deliverables and collaborating with vendors to achieve the highest levels of systems availability will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area - Contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering human intervention time on related tasks - Review and analyze operational support systems, application software, and system management tools - Work with vendors and technical personnel for problem resolution - Lead the team to meet technical deliverables while ensuring high levels of systems availability - Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: - Minimum 4+ years of experience in security domain and SDLC Governance knowledge - Knowledge of security requirements in SDLC phases - Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security - Proficient English language written and oral communication skills - Working knowledge of Java and .NET programming language for developing internet-facing applications - Experience in application threat modeling, OWASP tools and methodologies - Expertise in web application vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (manual and automated) - Ability to perform manual and automated code reviews - Command over security testing tools like AppScan, checkmax, WebInspect, CoreImpact, etc. - Possession of current security certifications - Ability to present findings to technical staff and executives - Ability to deliver professionally written reports for business units - Knowledge of application security controls and experience with Compliance controls execution In this role, you can expect to handle quality control reviews and validation activities on compliance controls.
