Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Design and implement DevOps solutions that are cloud-native, scalable, and secure
- Architect CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Plan and build multi-cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, optionally Azure/GCP)
- Define and implement GitOps workflows and policy-driven deployments
- Create scalable Kubernetes platforms using managed services (EKS, AKS, GKE) or self-managed clusters
DevOps Engineering
- Build reusable infrastructure templates using Terraform, Helm, or CloudFormation
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestrate deployments with ArgoCD or Flux
- Design secure ingress/egress strategies using Cloudflare Zero Trust, SSL termination, and path-based routing
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK stacks
Security & Governance
- Integrate DevSecOps best practices into pipelines (e.g., secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code)
- Implement Zero Trust Architecture using Cloudflare and IAM best practices
- Conduct architecture reviews, cloud security audits, and compliance assessments
Collaboration & Advisory
- Act as a technical advisor to developers, cloud engineers, and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable continuous delivery and site reliability
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to the creation of internal standards and reusable patterns
