Senior Surveyor

Responsible for managing all mine surveying activities to ensure accurate land measurements, mine planning, and statutory compliance for opencast coal mining operations.

Conduct and supervise topographical and volumetric surveys of the mine site.

• Prepare and update mine plans, section drawings, and statutory reports.
  
• Maintain accurate records of excavation, overburden, and coal extraction.
  
• Coordinate with planning, geology, and operations teams.
  
• Ensure compliance with

  DGMS

  and

  Mines Act

  survey standards.
• Manage GPS, Total Station, and Drone-based survey technologies.
  
• Guide and train junior surveyors and assistants.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree

  in Mining/Surveying from a recognized institution.
• Valid

  Surveyors Certificate of Competency

  (DGMS certified).
• Minimum

  5 - 10 years

  of relevant experience in opencast coal mines.
• Proficiency in

  AutoCAD

  ,

  GPS/Total Station

  , and survey software.
• Strong analytical and team leadership skills.
