Senior Surveyor - QAQC

The job incumbent will be responsible for performing QAQC inspections, audits, and supervision in accordance with QAP, approved procedures, standards, etc. You will be required to carry out certain tasks independently with minimal supervision, primarily on well-identified or isolated assets. Your major responsibilities will include conducting Third Party Inspection or QA/QC of Civil Projects continuously, providing on-site training for juniors, preparing progress reports, field inspection reports, NCs, etc. as per client requirements, and following up on these reports to address any identified gaps. You will also need to ensure adherence to Codes and Standards, supervise construction activities as per client requirements, and review QAP & Quality Manual. In terms of HSE roles and responsibilities, you must comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules at all times, adhere to company HSE requirements, take care of your own health and safety as well as that of your colleagues and others, report any shortcomings on HSE immediately to your Line Managers, and share opportunities for improvement in HSE aspects. Your performance will be evaluated based on criteria such as on-time delivery of reports, client relationship retention and growth, compliance with internal and external guidelines, policies, and procedures, internal and external customer service satisfaction, and adherence to Group HSE Guidelines. Qualifications and Experience: - General: Graduate Engineer BE/ B.Tech (Civil) with a minimum of 8 to 10 years or Diploma with 10-12 years of relevant experience. - Technical: Knowledge of QA/QC, NDT tests, and material tests will be preferred. - Skills & Qualities: Good communication skills (verbal, writing, and presentation), ability to comprehend technical issues quickly, and ability to work effectively in a team.
