Job Description:

Thanjavur Kitchen, a leading vegetarian restaurant in Thiruvananthapuram, is looking for an experienced Senior Steward to join our team. The role involves supervising the stewarding staff, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the stewarding team for daily cleaning and organization.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and dining areas.
• Manage cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
• Oversee waste management and sanitation processes.
• Assist kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Train new staff on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report repair or maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in kitchen stewarding or similar roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Languages Known: Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, English.
