SENIOR STEWARD

Job Summary:

The Senior Steward oversees the stewarding team to ensure all kitchen, bar, and service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked. This role plays a key part in keeping operations smooth during high-volume hours and maintaining hygiene standards required in a nightlife F&B environment.

Key Responsibilities: Cleaning & Hygiene

• Supervise and assist in washing dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen, bar, and service areas
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment (dishwashers, etc.)
• Deep-clean kitchen floors, walls, storage, and waste areas on schedule

Inventory & Stocking

• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding materials
• Ensure proper storage and availability of clean glassware and kitchenware
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep high-demand items stocked during service

Team Supervision

• Lead and train junior stewards on cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Assign stewarding tasks and monitor performance
• Ensure stewarding team follows hygiene and grooming policies

Health & Safety Compliance

• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols (HACCP, etc.)
• Ensure chemical handling procedures are followed correctly
• Assist in daily checklists and hygiene audits

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in stewarding, preferably in bars, lounges, or high-volume restaurants
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, kitchen hygiene, and equipment handling
• Ability to lead a small team and delegate tasks efficiently
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, hot environment
• Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
