Senior Staff Engineer, Technical Account Manager - Automotive Cockpit

As an Customer Engineering Account Manager at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for driving the execution of complex, multidisciplinary automotive programs with Qualcomm customers. You will thrive in an agile and forward-thinking environment, balancing process, quality, and execution speed effectively. Your role will involve managing large and complex embedded software solutions, along with strong programming, technical, debug, and execution skills. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Qualcomm Automotive customers to track project milestones, SOP schedules, FROP, upgrade schedules, and documentation. - Prioritize, track, and drive customer-reported issues to resolution/closure. - Communicate issue status to customers and internal senior executive teams. - Provide regular executive-level program report status and address key issues to management. - Collaborate with engineering, quality, product management, and sales teams to resolve technical and logistical issues. - Manage Qualcomm identified suppliers and partner organizations working with OEMs/Tier1s. Qualifications Required: - BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience. - 13+ years of experience in the embedded domain with diverse compute platforms. - Technical Account management experience in managing customers across automotive programs. - Strong understanding of Embedded Software architecture, firmware design, Linux kernel internals, and system limitations. - Hands-on experience in software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs and strong C/C++ programming skills. - Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with relevant work experience. - 3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
