Senior / Staff Data Scientist, Agentic Platforms

In this role at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for driving the design and deployment of intelligent, ML-powered solutions that enhance semiconductor design, product engineering, verification & validation, and manufacturing workflows. Your tasks will include architecting and implementing agentic AI systems that integrate with Advanced Modeling tools, EDA tools, design environments, and product/manufacturing test platforms to automate tasks such as spec translation, design verification, product validation, and test log root cause analysis for components and system-level products. You will also establish and promote Best Known Methods (BKMs) for deploying LLMs and agentic systems in production environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and maintainability. Additionally, you will benchmark and evaluate model performance using structured evaluation frameworks, and continuously refine models through prompt tuning, RLHF, and feedback loops. Collaboration with cross-functional teamsincluding process engineers, design engineers, product and test engineering teams, and data scientiststo define high-impact problem statements and deliver scalable AI solutions will be a key part of your role. Lastly, you will communicate technical insights and solution strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and visualizations.
