Description
As a Senior SQL Developer at our company, your role is crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining database systems, including SSIS projects and custom reports. You will collaborate with the data team to address SQL issues and ensure efficient data management within a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop SSIS projects to handle ETL, transmission, encryption, and archiving files received and generated - Perform SQL Database Tuning and Performance optimization - Design, develop, and maintain database tables, stored procedures, and supporting objects - Build and support operational reports for both company and clients - Work with the data team to provide operational support and resolve recurring problems - Document database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures - Develop SQL queries and support ad hoc requests for data - Assist with capacity planning and resource expansion through data aggregation and analysis - Collaborate with project managers to ensure that reports and metrics identify business needs and opportunities for process improvement - Identify inefficiencies in the database platform and provide solutions to the management - Utilize problem-solving skills to assist in the resolution of business problems - Develop analytical skills to resolve technical issues - Identify root causes for problems and propose solutions to prevent recurrence - Use, protect, and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards - Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures - Limit viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary for assigned duties **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology is required - Minimum five years of experience working as a Database engineer or in a related role - Minimum of three years of extensive SSRS\SSIS\T-SQL experience - Minimum of two years of experience with C# and\or VB.NET - Thorough understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices - Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code and design stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, and constraints - Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later with an emphasis on query performance - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization - Strong problem-solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment - High level of integrity, dependability, sense of urgency, and results orientation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction (Note: The working conditions include fully remote work setup, US Hours night shift schedule, minimal physical demands, and a stress-handling work environment.)
