Description
As a Senior Specialist in FP&A, your role is crucial in managing financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the GAHM sites in Manesar(India) and Cape Town(South Africa). You will serve as a Finance Support and Business Partner, collaborating with site leadership to provide regular financial updates, insights, and analyses. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly operating results, creating financial forecasts and budgets, and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Additionally, you will support regional FP&A initiatives to drive sound financial decision-making across the sites. Responsibilities: - Regular financial performance updates, analysis, and insight, including liaising with site leadership to ensure results are understood and acted upon - Prepare and analyze monthly operating results, financial forecasts, and other reports, summarizing information for comment while meeting reporting deadlines - Construct financial forecasts and budgets in partnership with site leadership teams and Regional/Global team - Identify manufacturing efficiencies, optimize processes, and track outcomes of cost-saving initiatives - Act as a trusted member of the team, providing proactive business advice for sound financial performance - Support regional FP&A as needed COGS Support: - Define and review standard cost, collaborate with global COSI team for annual profitability plan - Prepare hourly rate for budget and standard costing processes, provide analysis on variances - Assist with product costings, drive new business opportunities, forecasting, and variance analysis - Provide information for Site products in scope of CCPs, Margin Evaluations - Support business case evaluations of new projects, new product costing, site-transfer project evaluations Working Capital Management: - Evaluate Fixed Assets Acquisitions, prepare Business Case, ensure Approvals, support accounting team - Support periodical Fixed Asset counts, conduct Gap Analysis, ensure deviations are supported with approvals - Co-ordinate with Site Operations and Procurement for assessing health of Site Inventory - Analyze impact of high inventories on P&L, finalize monthly provisions, review and approvals - Support periodical inventory counts, conduct Stock-take, Gap Analysis, ensure variances are accounted correctly - Support audit queries on Financial Budgets, Inventory Valuation, Standard Cost exercise - Ensure compliance and internal control integrity Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master's degree or relevant certification preferred - Minimum 7 years of experience in Cost Management Accounting - Professional experience in an organization with global operations - Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles, risk analysis, budgeting, forecasting - Rich experience in Product Costing, Capital Projects Evaluation - Experience working with Site Leadership and Site Operations Team - Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required - Experience in SAP FICO & Production modules required - English proficiency as a working language If you meet the qualifications and experience for this role, we encourage you to apply before the job posting end date of 05/2/2025.,
