Senior Specialist - Cloud & Application Engineering

As a JavaScript Senior Consultant at Bristlecone, you will provide overall technology leadership to the team for estimating, designing, building, and rolling out solutions to production. Your role involves ensuring that appropriate engineering processes, practices, and tools are leveraged to deliver high-quality solutions in a timely manner. You will review the team's work and provide actionable feedback, understand technical and business requirements, and deliver working and tested code. Additionally, you will work on full stack JavaScript development, perform demonstrations for customers, and participate in customer calls to understand requirements and issues. To excel in this role, you should have at least 7 years of JavaScript development experience, with a minimum of 1 year in front end and back end development each. You should have completed at least 3 project implementations as a full stack developer. Proficiency in front end frameworks like Angular or React, back end technologies like Node, and tools like GIT is essential. A good working knowledge of JavaScript ES6, HTML, and CSS is required. Experience in implementing and governing software engineering processes, practices, tools, and standards for development teams is also a key qualification. Soft skills are crucial for success in this role, including strong leadership, business communication, and consulting skills. Prior experience in client-facing leadership roles in regions like the US and Canada is preferred. You should also be a thought leader in one or more areas of technology.
