Senior Software Quality Engineer (Automation)

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing suites and frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment of software applications. Your role will involve leading the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and collaborating with stakeholders to establish comprehensive testing strategies. You will play a crucial part in ensuring software releases meet the highest quality standards by developing and executing automated test scripts. Your responsibilities will include analyzing test results, managing and tracking test statuses, logging and monitoring defects, and ensuring specific standards and end-user requirements are met. You will also be expected to drive ongoing process improvements in testing methodologies, including the development and application of automated procedures for future replication. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with developers and stakeholders. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is required. You should also demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements. Key qualifications for this role include a Diploma or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance. Proficiency in business English (written and spoken) is necessary. You should have a good grasp of Application Programming Interface (API) testing methodologies and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience in designing and executing automation scripts for Web-based Desktop applications and API Testing tools is a must. You should be adept at troubleshooting questions and issues within Tosca and implementing key TOSCA features in Automation assignments. Experience with SQL/database testing, as well as understanding various data exchange formats like XML and JSON, will be beneficial. You should also have the ability to build test execution reports and maintain clear documentation throughout the testing process. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure testing services align with organizational objectives and demands. You will be responsible for quantifying, managing, tracking, and reporting testing status, SLAs, and KPIs. Additionally, you will ensure team adherence to testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies while creating framework components and reusable functions for automation and performance testing.
