Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA Engineer)

As a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, your role will involve developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to maintain product quality. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing detailed test plans and test scripts for all product releases, including main releases and hot/patch fixes. - Executing all test scripts and end user experience tests. - Assisting in the recreation and validation of customer reported issues. - Updating test scripts with valid customer reported issues. - Managing and maintaining testing-related documentation, such as test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports. - Tracking problems and communicating defects to developers promptly. - Providing proactive assistance in the software quality assurance process. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - 4+ years of professional software quality engineering and testing experience, with expertise in test automation and at least 1+ year of experience as a software quality assurance team lead. - Proficiency in client-server, web applications, database solutions, user interface, and infrastructure automation. - Familiarity with SQL, Agile Processes, testing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrations between systems. - Experience in testing web-based and client-server applications within an Agile Development environment. - Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes. - Proficiency in tools such as Rally, Selenium, Load Runner, Keynote, and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for functional, automated, load, performance, and stress testing. - Knowledge of appropriate programming languages in .Net Framework (REST and/or API, Web Services), tools, skillsets, and a high-level understanding of the project's technical architecture. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
