Description
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development support. Drive the creation and implementation of intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly interfaces. Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI standards to ensure brand consistency and design scalability. Conduct design reviews and audits to ensure high-quality output and adherence to best practices. Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and tools, and evaluate their relevance to the team's goals. Manage project timelines, prioritize workloads, and allocate resources effectively within the team. Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices across all UI work. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of experience in UI development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
