Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader-GoLang

As a Team Lead specializing in GoLang, you will be responsible for leading the development of scalable, high-performance applications and mentoring a team of engineers. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services to ensure successful delivery of complete solutions to customers. Collaborating closely with your team, you will support their platform usage and drive continuous improvement in development practices. Your recommendations for enhancing processes and approaches will be valued by your reporting head who values innovation. Your key responsibilities will include leading and mentoring engineers, providing guidance on design, coding, and troubleshooting. You will architect highly scalable and available systems, translating business requirements into scalable designs. Working closely with team members, you will deliver complete solutions to customers and effectively communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide updates. Your involvement in all phases of the agile development cycle will be vital, including planning, design, implementation, review, testing, deployment, documentation, and training. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly, advocate for Agile methodologies, and strive for continuous improvement in development processes and team productivity. Implementing and maintaining APIs using REST, GraphQL, and gRPC will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 4+ years of web development experience, with a minimum of 2+ years of proficiency in Go programming. A deep understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases, experience with AWS services, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL is required. Knowledge of additional web technologies such as Python or PHP is a plus. Strong time management, organizational skills, design skills, understanding of data structures and algorithms, proactive approach, and ownership over the product are essential. A positive attitude, great analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, technical mentorship experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are highly desirable. Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.,
