Roles & Responsibilities:
We are hiring quality assurance engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for test automation, strike a balance between test coverage and test quality, architect and code automated tests across multiple delivery pipelines, and establish best practices & processes which improve developer efficiencies and product quality.
The ideal candidate will also have a track record of having worked with multiple cross-functional teams and test activities as part of the overall product release pipeline. Scope and Complexity: You have subject-matter expertise related to one or more production software systems and demonstrated a pattern of ensuring the high-quality delivery of feature changes in those, or similar, systems. You execute and build automated tests by contributing new code that builds on top of what other engineers have written.

Decision Making: You can contribute to test plans for more complex feature enhancements involving yourself and one or more additional engineers . You make clear determinations on defect severity based on considerations of customer experience.

Execution : You need little oversight to work within the team s software development lifecycle practices. You can help newcomers to be productive with the team s processes. You consistently contribute to and improve automation efforts through direct code contribution and/ or integration of automation into the software development life cycle. You use your knowledge of interconnected systems and technology to come up with methods to test difficult cases.

Operations You think about the long-term health of your test suites, both manual and automated, and you endeavor to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of release/ deployment processes through proper stakeholder communications, documentation, and use of monitoring tools.

What to bring:
-
5 8 years of experience in Backend service testing, Rest-api testing, Web application testing.

Strong python scripting & pytest is mandatory.

Experience driving test design and implementation
-
Understanding of multiple test types including unit, functional, integration, end to end, security, performance, load, and UI tests.

Understanding of test cases, test data, test runs, and test results management that provides feedback and visibility to qualify & quantify test coverage.

Ability to scout emerging industry trends such as AI testing and other best in class processes.

Able to drive and steer discussions and meetings to achieve desired goals.

Able to collaborate and work with development teams across multiple time zones and locations

Knowledge of various test activities across release pipelines to promote artifacts from lower environments like dev, QA to prod environments, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, E2E testing etc.

Reviews automated test run results and verifies results

Triages test failures and determine if the failed test is the result of a bug or an issue with the test script or test data

Ability to add new features and enhancements to existing Automation framework

Able to organize test case inventories that minimize the number of test cases while maximizing the amount of test coverage.

Writes high quality automated test cases using existing frameworks

Python, Java, JavaScript, AWS, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, Cucumber, Docker, Grafana, Jenkins Pipelines, Github knowledge

Performance testing knowledge using tools like JMeter, K6, Gatling
