Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview: Zema Global, a world leader in enterprise data management solutions, is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team at cQuant.io. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex features across the full stack. Your contributions will help in building high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions that cater to energy analytics customers globally. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of critical features across both frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js/Express, Python, Golang) systems. - Guide the team in applying Agile development practices and ensure delivery of high-quality, maintainable code. - Translate complex business requirements and wireframes into robust, production-ready solutions. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across various devices, browsers, and workloads. - Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms. - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best coding, testing, and DevOps practices. - Drive improvements in team processes, tooling, and infrastructure. - Champion secure development practices and implement modern data protection approaches. - Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features meeting technical and business goals. Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Python and modern web application architecture. - Understanding of Linux environments, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with architecting and deploying cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or similar). - Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization. - Track record in performance optimization, benchmarking, and scalability design. - Advanced use of Git and version control best practices. - Nice to have expertise in js and Node.js, with hands-on experience in workflows such as Redux or Flux and frameworks like Express. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance trade-offs between technical and business needs.
