Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).
Create and execute end-to-end, regression, and integration test suites for web applications and backend services.
Perform API testing using Cypress and Swagger-based documentation; validate integrations with Gravitee API Gateway.
Conduct database testing with MongoDB and InfluxDB to validate data integrity and business logic.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define test strategies in Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments.
Integrate automation suites into Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Set up and monitor test environments using Docker and Lens (Kubernetes IDE).
Troubleshoot and debug test failures, perform root cause analysis, and log detailed defect reports.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and QA process improvements.
Mentor junior testers and help establish a quality-driven culture within the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

5-7 years of experience in test automation, including:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Cypress (JavaScript) test automation.
- Selenium with Java test automation for UI testing.
Strong knowledge of Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build workflows
Experience testing RESTful APIs , working with Swagger documentation, and validating API Gateway behavior (e.g., Gravitee)
Hands-on experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and monitoring tools like Lens IDE
Proficient with MongoDB and InfluxDB for backend validation and database automation
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies , TDD , SDLC , and STLC
Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket , test reporting tools, and collaborative development workflows
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related technical discipline.
