SENIOR, SOFTWARE ENGINEER

• Walmart Fulfillment Team is responsible for building data driven highly optimized supply chain suite of products to manage entire gamut of supply chain lifecycle for our retail and ecommerce lines of business
• With our rapidly increasing footfalls in stores and exponential growth in online orders; this all has to be done to scale millions of owned and marketplace SKU s complete inbound and outbound fulfilment lifecycles

• From forecasting; replenishing inventory for millions of items worth billions of dollars, sourcing of millions of orders, to route optimization & last mile delivery to Warehouse Management Systems to most advanced grocery; order management systems; technology is the backbone behind the entire platform enabling the massive cloud-scale supply chain

• You are responsible for coding, unit testing, building high performance and scalable applications that meet the needs of millions of Walmart-International customers, in the areas of supply chain management & Customer experience.
  You are expected to be more intellectually curious engineer who is passionate about domain/technology in general.

• 2 to 6 years of total experience of which 2+ years in Backend engineering platform development.
• 2+ years of experience in Java J2ee technologies, Distributed systems and large scale application development and design.
• Hands on experience Kafka, Cassandra.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Restful Web Services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and no-SQL technologies such as Oracle, Kafka
• Experience with a containerization technology and Microservice
• we'll versed in CI/CD
• Work with Java, Multithreading, Data Structures, Algorithm, Design Patterns and develop
  robust high- performance and scalable applications.
• Extremely strong technical background with the capability of being hands-on and ability to
  mentor top individual technical talent.

Option 1: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 5 years experience in software engineering or related area.

Master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 1 year s experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
