Role Overview: As a software engineer at Google, you will be developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement production-ready, secure, and scalable infrastructure systems capable of operating at a large, multi-tenant scale. - Optimize system performance to meet low latency and cost-efficiency requirements. - Collaborate with product engineering teams such as Google Play Store, Google Maps, and Google Search to understand their requirements and provide the necessary infrastructure for their user-facing products. - Ensure the security and isolation of multi-tenant environments that handle sensitive data and high-volume traffic. - Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (Tier 1/2) to offer operational support, diagnose and resolve complex production issues, and maintain system availability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages. - 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience in software design and architecture. - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred). - 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms (preferred). - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role (preferred). - Experience developing accessible technologies (preferred).,
