Job Description

Responsibilities Automation Strategy & Leadership: Define and implement the test automation strategy, frameworks, and best practices. Lead the automation team in creating and maintaining Playwright-based automated test scripts. Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in developing their skills and knowledge. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities. Test Script Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright. Ensure that automated test scripts are maintainable, scalable, and reusable. Maintain and enhance the existing test automation frameworks. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing. Test Planning & Execution : Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify test requirements and create test plans. Execute automated test scripts, analyse results, and report defects. Identify areas for test improvement and implement solutions to enhance test coverage and efficiency. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the development process. Communicate test progress, issues, and results to stakeholders effectively. Facilitate and participate in regular meetings with the team to review progress and address challenges. Tool and Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies. Evaluate new tools and technologies that could enhance the automation testing process. Education / Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
