Senior Software Engineer - React.js

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, Front End (with TypeScript) at Simpplr, you will be instrumental in building the foundation of and delivering a new product line. Your role will involve working in a talented cross-functional team to develop new user-facing features using TypeScript on the frontend (React). You will contribute to the shared UI library used by many engineering teams across the company, write automated unit tests and end-to-end tests for your code and services, and participate in agile ceremonies to deliver value in two-week sprints. Additionally, you will help influence the overall architecture and direction of the codebase as well as the wider product, establish best practices, guidelines, and processes, and mentor and guide other team members to help them grow in their careers. Key Responsibilities: - Work in a talented cross-functional team to develop new user-facing features using TypeScript on the frontend (React) - Contribute to the shared UI library used by many engineering teams across the company - Write automated unit tests and end-to-end tests for your code and services - Participate in agile ceremonies to deliver value in two-week sprints - Help influence the overall architecture and direction of the codebase and the wider product - Establish best practices, guidelines, and processes to allow the team to focus on building the application - Mentor and guide other team members to help them grow in their careers Qualification Required: - 5+ years of overall experience - 4+ years of experience with React, with a solid understanding of how and why it uses a virtual DOM - Experience using modern modular CSS strategies e.g., styled components, emotion, etc. (CSS Modules) and understanding why globally scoped styles are not recommended - Strong knowledge and understanding of functional programming patterns - Good understanding of CI/CD, unit testing (with Jest), and automated end-to-end testing using a framework like Cypress - Familiarity with profiling and analyzing code to identify areas for improvement, as well as a high-level understanding of React and browser internals to ensure frontend performance - Excitement about working in a fast-paced startup environment - Proven excellence in writing readable and efficient TypeScript code - Track record of project leadership and mentorship of software engineers - Experience working with micro-frontends in production - Familiarity with feature flag tools such as Harness and frameworks/libraries like css-modules, Next.js (Note: The additional details about the company's hybrid-remote work model have been omitted as per the instruction),
