Senior Software Engineer - React

As a Senior JavaScript Engineer (React) at our leading modern product consultancy and digital innovation firm, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with fellow Software Engineers to re-architect existing web platforms while ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Your expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML/CSS, Webpack, SASS, component libraries, Rest, Git, CI/CD practices, and Testing will be crucial in achieving success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test web applications using modern web technologies. - Collaborate with Software Engineers to navigate discussions and strategies in re-architecting web platforms. - Identify and address potential pitfalls, raise concerns, and manage stakeholder expectations. - Define and break out epics/features, while maintaining a holistic view of the project. - Work in an agile team to deliver working software incrementally. - Contribute to the Web Practice's direction by participating in interviewing, mentoring, tech talks, workshops, and industry trend discussions. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional engineering experience with web technologies. - Expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, React, HTML/CSS, Webpack, SASS, component libraries, Rest, Git, CI/CD practices, and Testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC, Browser performance, Systems Design, and ability to adapt to new technologies. - Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends. - Excellent communication skills.
