Senior Software Engineer PHP

As a Senior PHP Programmer/Developer, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Review existing delivery dates and work requirements, analyze alternatives, and communicate options with technical and delivery date impacts - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features - Work on bug fixing and enhancing application performance - Mentor and work alongside other team members - Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks - Proactively analyze, clarify, code, and unit test software within a team environment - Participate in code reviews and contribute to project planning - Develop software according to pre-defined standards and specifications - Perform functional analysis, debugging, and write/update documentation - Work to meet project schedules, timelines, and deadlines - Record and report status in an agile environment Your primary skillset should include: - Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology - 3 years of experience in back-end development using PHP and PostgreSQL, and front-end development using HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap - Exposure to MVC frameworks like Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, etc. - Deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns and principles for web-based business applications - Strong knowledge in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQ, and working with SQL statements - Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, social APIs, and APIs for mobile applications - Web service integration experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, XML - Designing/developing with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) - Experience with application caching techniques and technologies, development tools like IDEs, and Git version control Qualifications required for this role: - UG: B.Tech/B.E (CSE/IT), B.Sc.
