Senior Software Engineer PHP

As a Senior PHP Programmer/Developer at our company, you will be responsible for reviewing existing delivery dates and work requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features, working on bug fixing and application performance improvement, mentoring other team members, providing accurate task estimates, proactively analyzing, coding, and unit testing software within a team environment, participating in code reviews, developing software to predefined standards, performing functional analysis and debugging, writing and updating documentation, working to meet project schedules, and reporting status in an agile environment. You will also contribute ideas to project planning. Key Responsibilities: - Review existing delivery dates and work requirements, analyze alternatives, and communicate options - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Work on bug fixing and improving application performance - Mentor other team members - Provide accurate estimates for tasks - Proactively analyze, clarify, code, and unit test software - Participate in code reviews - Develop software to predefined standards and specifications - Perform functional analysis and debugging - Write and update documentation - Work to meet project schedules and deadlines - Report status in an agile environment - Contribute ideas to project planning Primary Skillset Required: - Good understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/iterative methodology - 3+ years of experience in back-end development using PHP and PostgreSQL and front-end development using HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap - Exposure to MVC frameworks like Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, etc. - Deep understanding of object-oriented design patterns and principles in web-based business applications - Strong knowledge in PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQ - Experience working with third-party libraries, APIs, social APIs, and APIs for mobile applications - Web service integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) - Experience with n-tier architectures - Experience with application caching techniques and technologies - Experience with development tools such as IDEs and Git version control Key Skills Required: - Core PHP - Codeigniter - Laravel - Zend Framework - PostgreSQL - MVC Qualifications Required: - UG: B.Tech / B.E (CS / IT) - PG: M.Sc.(CS), MCA If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to jobs@innervex.in.,
