Senior Software Engineer (PHP & Cloud Management)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (PHP & Cloud Management) with expertise in PHP/MySQL/MongoDB development and proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure and deployments. In this role, you will primarily focus on hands-on coding tasks with oversight of infrastructure, rather than a pure DevOps position. The ideal candidate is an experienced PHP engineer who thrives on creating scalable applications while also adept at handling server management, domain configurations, and Docker-based deployments. Responsibilities: Core Software Development (Primary Focus - 75%) - Lead backend architecture, optimization, and development as the senior PHP/MySQL developer. - Design and implement scalable PHP-based applications and APIs. - Mentor and guide the development team, ensuring adherence to best coding practices. - Install, configure, and enhance open-source software like EspoCRM and Mayan EDMS. Infrastructure & Deployment Management (Secondary Focus - 25%) - Manage Azure VMs for smooth operation and security. - Administer Cloudflare DNS settings for domain management and optimizations. - Handle Plesk-based hosting environments. - Set up and maintain NIC VPN-based installations as necessary. - Dockerize PHP applications to enhance deployment and scalability. - Implement basic CI/CD processes for automated testing and deployments. Requirements: - Minimum 8 years of senior-level PHP & MySQL experience. - Strong backend development skills with a focus on API design, security, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Azure VMs, Cloudflare DNS, and Plesk. - Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines for deploying PHP applications. - Ability to learn and configure new open-source software as needed. - Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring developers. - Willingness to manage cloud infrastructure when required, without being a full-time DevOps role. Preferred But Not Mandatory: - Exposure to EspoCRM formula scripting, Mayan EDMS, or similar open-source tools. - Some experience with VPN-based setups and networking concepts. - Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel and Symfony.,
