What is the Senior Software Engineer role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer with 5 - 9 yrs experience and has a strong foundation in iOS development and additional Android expertise, eager to work on cross-platform mobile solutions. The ideal candidate has robust experience building native and hybrid mobile applications, is passionate about technology, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What youll be doing:

Design, develop, and maintain native and hybrid mobile applications with a primary focus on iOS, while supporting Android platforms as needed.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver clean, scalable, and robust mobile solutions.
Participate in technical discussions and architecture decisions for cross-platform mobile projects.
Apply knowledge of hybrid frameworks and modernize app development and deployment.
Review code and enforce coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve app performance and reliability on both iOS and Android.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in both mobile and hybrid development.

What youll bring:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required, Masters preferred.
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile app security best practices.
Proven experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across platforms.
Oversee the integration of third-party APIs and services.

Bonus Points for:

Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for sharing code and business logic across Android and iOS
Working knowledge of BLE device integration is a plus

Experience with cloud services (Firebase, AWS, Azure) for mobile backends.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, Detox, Espresso, etc.).
Contributions to open-source projects or published apps on Google Play/App Store.
Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools.
