As a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript/React, you will play a crucial role in our development team that is dedicated to designing, constructing, and managing TV SDKs. Your dedication to crafting clean code, robust architecture, and keeping abreast of the latest web development trends will be instrumental in this role. Responsibilities: - **SDK Development:** You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining JavaScript-based SDKs for seamless integration with Smart TV platforms like Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, among others. Your expertise in API engineering, SDK development, design patterns, and React will be essential for this task. - **Documentation:** Your role will involve creating comprehensive documentation for the SDKs, encompassing installation guides, usage instructions, and best practices for developers to ensure smooth integration. - **Testing and Quality Assurance:** You will develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and compatibility tests to guarantee the reliability and stability of the SDKs across various Smart TV platforms. - **Version Management and Updates:** Managing version control and ensuring backward compatibility during the release of updates and new versions of the SDKs will be part of your responsibilities. - **Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting:** You will be expected to identify and resolve issues related to the SDKs, collaborating closely with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported problems promptly. - **Stay Current with Smart TV Trends:** Keeping yourself updated with the latest advancements in Smart TV platforms, APIs, and technologies is crucial. You are expected to actively incorporate relevant developments into the SDKs to enhance their performance. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven experience as a Software Engineer focusing on JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (Good to have), with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with a deep understanding of the React ecosystem. - Experience working with Smart TV platforms and their development tools and SDKs (Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Roku, etc.). - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues on Smart TV platforms. - Proficiency in using version control systems, especially Git. - Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. - A passion for creating innovative solutions for Smart TV platforms and a drive to stay informed about industry trends.
