Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) at IKEA Family's Customer Rewards, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining systems that manage Reward Programmes and provide digital experiences for over 100M IKEA Family members. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Implementing the Global Points Programme across all markets to enhance customer experience. - Utilizing Domain-driven Design and Event-driven Architecture patterns to design, develop, and operate systems. - Developing secure and tested solutions in JavaScript/TypeScript using technologies such as Git, Web Components, VueJS, NodeJS, and SQL. - Deploying cloud native solutions on Google Cloud Platform using Docker, Cloud Build, and Terraform. - Upholding and enhancing Software Engineering standards to ensure best-in-class engineering practices. - Collaborating with Software Engineering leadership to mentor and develop other engineers. - Working closely with various teams within the IKEA Family Product Area to drive impactful contributions to Customer Rewards. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who: - Possesses expertise in multiple areas of the engineering stack, including infrastructure, backend, and frontend. - Demonstrates a high standard of crafting quality code and familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and Cloud infrastructure. - Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, such as architecture, product, experience design, data specialists, and domain experts. - Implements changes efficiently through integration and deployment pipelines. - Values system design and modeling as integral components of Software Engineering. - Communicates clearly and effectively to share knowledge and collaborate seamlessly. - Embraces continuous learning and views mentorship as a key aspect of personal growth.
