Senior Software Engineer II / I (Node.JS)

As a Senior Software Engineer I/II at Contentstack, you will have the opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact. You will be responsible for building high-performing products at scale with industry trending standards of microservices. Your role will involve writing and reviewing maintainable, scalable, and efficient code with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD). Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the architecture and framework of applications, defining technical solutions from design and architecture through development, coding, and unit testing. You will also be involved in documenting technical designs using various diagrams and collaborating closely with the implementation teams of various product lines to ensure architectural standards and best practices are consistently followed. Key Responsibilities: - Build high performing products at scale with microservices standards - Write and review maintainable, scalable, and efficient code with focus on TDD - Support and enhance architecture and framework of applications - Define technical solutions from design to development - Document technical designs using various diagrams - Ensure consistency in architectural standards and best practices across applications - Collaborate with implementation teams of various product lines - Improve processes and adopt tools for faster release cycles and increased velocity Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, Typescript, and AWS or any other cloud platform - 5-10 years of relevant experience - Good working experience in Microservices based architecture - Knowledge in MongoDB, Redis - Expertise in cloud development and deployment - Experience in managing/mentoring development teams - Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately - Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of information security best practices - Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues At Contentstack, you will find interesting work that challenges you to learn something new every day and never stop growing.
