Senior Software Engineer- Golang

Role Overview: You will be working as a seasoned engineer at Ingka Group Digital (IKEA) in the Fulfilment and core services team. Your main responsibility will be to design and build globally scalable, automatically tested, and well-functioning systems using modern architecture and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build demand legend solutions using event-driven cloud architecture - Collaborate with agile teams to develop and integrate software solutions - Contribute to the development and operation of digital products and services - Provide technical foresight and mentoring to the team - Ensure sound and sustainable software solutions for customers and co-workers - Work with modern DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools - Implement best practices in microservice architecture, testing, and cloud development - Utilize programming languages like Go, Java, and event-driven architecture tools such as Kafka - Understand design patterns, reliability, scaling, and security concepts in the cloud environment Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a software engineer - Experience in designing and architecting new systems with strong technical aptitude - Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and container technologies - Knowledge of Sprint Boot microservices, API management, and modern deployment processes - Familiarity with NoSQL and relational database technologies - Skills in logging, alerting, tracing, and debugging in the cloud environment We are a diverse team that values inclusivity and encourages individuals from underrepresented communities to apply.
