Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer with expertise in .NET, Azure Functions, and Angular to design, develop, implement, and maintain custom applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to best practices and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:

• Design, develop, and test custom applications using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Develop and maintain Azure-based applications using Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
• Create and maintain application integrations.

• Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with team members and project owners to execute development plans effectively.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project planning and execution.

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

• Diagnose and resolve application issues efficiently.
• Ensure proper documentation of designs, code, and troubleshooting steps.

• Security & Compliance:

• Apply knowledge of SDL and OWASP security principles to ensure application security.
• Comply with IT Policies, Procedures, and Professional Standards.

• Research & Innovation:

• Research emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and make recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in .NET development (including .NET Core and .NET Framework).
• Strong programming experience in C#.
• Proficient in Angular (priority), ReactJS, JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery), CSS3/Bootstrap, and HTML/HTML5.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, ADFS).
• Strong expertise in SQL Server development (stored procedures, functions, query optimization).
• Experience with WCF, Web API, and Console Apps.
• Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns.
• Strong adherence to software development principles and coding standards.
• Good understanding of application security principles (SDL and OWASP).
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving application issues effectively.
• Experience in the finance/insurance/benefits domains is a plus.
