Senior Software Engineer - Front End Angular with Java

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Angular (versions 11 through 17), Java programming, and the Spring ecosystem, with a deep understanding of modern web development, backend integration, and security best practices, ideally within an investment banking technology environment. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Angular web applications, writing efficient, reusable Java code, designing and implementing backend services using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot, developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures in Oracle databases, implementing security features, collaborating effectively within agile teams, and supporting automated release processes using tools like TeamCity, Veracode, and SDA. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Angular web development, 5 years of hands-on Java programming experience, at least 3 years of experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA, strong SQL skills, excellent object-oriented programming and JavaScript skills, experience delivering rich, interactive JavaScript functionalities in web applications, familiarity with BMC Control-M or equivalent scheduler tools, good understanding of security considerations in coding, and experience with automated build and release tools.
