Senior Software Engineer - DevOps

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at FinBox, you will utilize your expertise in cloud computing and infrastructure-as-a-service tools. You will take ownership of driving new initiatives to implement industry best practices, enhance process improvements, develop automation, and orchestration solutions to ensure the rapid, reliable, and scalable delivery of software applications. You will be responsible for building and configuring new development tools and infrastructure to facilitate product scaling. Your role will involve implementing and maintaining CI/CD processes for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to support the continuous delivery of high-quality software. Additionally, you will design, build, and manage secure, automated, and resilient cloud infrastructure while collaborating with fellow developers to ensure adherence to established processes. Furthermore, you will establish monitoring and logging practices to uphold application availability, performance, and security. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to software development, deployment, and infrastructure will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, requiring you to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. You will also provide Day 2 technical support for products and deployments, documenting each phase of the process, and offer guidance on DevOps best practices and tools to team members. To excel in this role, you should possess over 5 years of experience in CI/CD practices and implementing development best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash is essential, along with a deep understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and other related technologies. Strong system design and algorithm knowledge, hands-on experience with AWS, and expertise in automating systems and deployments are also required. Additionally, you should advocate for high-quality coding standards, possess familiarity with monitoring frameworks like Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog, and be adept at promoting clean and reusable code.
