Senior Software Engineer - Data Science

As a Senior Software Engineer in Data Science, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications with a specific focus on machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI). You will be responsible for various tasks such as building and optimizing ML/NLP models, integrating them into production systems, and implementing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI solutions for business applications. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications that center around ML and AI technologies. - Building and optimizing ML/NLP models, and seamlessly integrating them into production systems. - Implementing and fine-tuning LLMs and GenAI solutions specifically tailored for business applications. - Designing and managing database structures that support ML applications and data pipelines. - Deploying and monitoring ML models in cloud environments, specifically in AWS/Azure. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions. - Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to ensure maintainability. - Participating actively in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise in production environments. - Keeping abreast of the latest trends in ML, NLP, and GenAI to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge. Qualifications Required: - 3 years of hands-on experience in the field of Data Science. - Minimum of 3 years of proficient experience in Python programming. - At least 1+ years of practical experience in working with ML and NLP technologies. - Minimum 1.5 years of experience with LLMs and generative AI (GenAI). - At least 2 years of experience working with any database technology. - 1+ years of knowledge in deploying ML models and Python applications on Azure or AWS platforms. - Familiarity with LLMOps is considered a valuable asset for this role. Please note that the office for this position is situated in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, and the standard working hours are from 11 AM to 8 PM for 5 days per week.
