Position Purpose The role is for a Senior Software Engineer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities The role is for a Senior Software Engineer with experience of working within a dynamic and demanding environment reacting to changing business needs who works equally well as an individual or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years Application Development and Maintenance & support experience. The candidate must have past experience of working as a part of large Development / Support team. The role will also involve all aspects of the Application development, M&E activities and to provide L3 support ticket resolutions. The candidate should have an understanding of full software life cycle (SDLC) as well as Agile Methodology. Previous experience within the investment-banking sector is not essential but will be an added advantage Technical & Behavioral Competencies Excellent Knowledge & Understanding of COBOL, UNIX, SQL. Good Knowledge of Unix Server environment & platforms Good Knowledge & Understanding of CICS, Oracle DB, PL-SQL. Flair for learning new tools & technology Knowledge of AUTOSYS, JIRA and ServiceNow will be an added advantage Specific Qualifications (if required) - Change management process - SDLC awareness Skills Referential Behavioural Skills : (Please select up to 4 skills) Ability to collaborate / Teamwork Client focused Ability to deliver / Results driven Attention to detail / rigor Transversal Skills: (Please select up to 5 skills) Analytical Ability Ability to develop and adapt a process Ability to develop others & improve their skills Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent Experience Level At least 3 years
