Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Product Delivery Team, you will be the key development point person, showcasing a proven track record of excellence in your areas of expertise. Your role involves being a Development Expert to engineering, staying up-to-date with the latest Engineering trends, and possessing experience in designing and implementing complex SaaS solutions. Understanding dependencies with underlying systems and resolving issues in system interfaces will be part of your responsibilities. You will be tasked with spearheading the design, development, and testing of new platform features, components, and enhancements. Collaborating with and providing technical guidance to Product Management, you will translate business requirements into sequenced user stories aligned with the product roadmap. During sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off ceremonies, you may lead a team to raise awareness, provide implementation guidance, and estimate user stories. Your duties will also include setting and guiding the technical direction within and across teams, offering technical leadership and coaching to more junior team members, promoting coding standards and SOPs, conducting code reviews, researching and implementing new technologies where suitable, and devising strategies to address technical debt. You will take operational responsibility in resolving production issues and be involved in architecture decisions for the development framework. Technologies you will work with include Kotlin Spring Boot, Java for Backend development, Angular for Frontend, Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, and other relational and non-relational databases for Data Base management, Kafka for Message Queue, and tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins.,
