Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Visual C/C++, you will have the opportunity to work with our Oilfield Services and Equipment Digital Team, where we provide intelligent, connected technologies for monitoring and controlling energy extraction assets. Collaborating with various business units and clients, you will be involved in developing software and innovative technical solutions. Your role will involve working independently and contributing to multiple teams across the business, conducting research and development to create robust engineering applications, designing and developing engineering/science/math models, user interfaces, and workflows, as well as maintaining knowledge of assigned products and subject areas. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 7-11 years of experience in software engineering, proficiency in Visual C/C++ on the Windows platform, and familiarity with source control systems like TFS, Subversion, and Git. An advanced engineering degree, particularly in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical fields, is preferred, along with proven problem-solving abilities and experience in developing algorithms and models relevant to oil/gas operations. Experience in fluid mechanics, wellbore hydraulics, and reservoir injection/stimulation modeling is beneficial, while expertise in matrix acidizing modeling is highly advantageous. Strong communication skills, user interface design experience, and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML5 programming are also desirable qualities for this role.
