Senior Software Engineer - Backend Services

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, resilient backend services and APIs using Java and Golang. You will work on developing cloud-native microservices deployed via Kubernetes on platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Your role will involve optimizing system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in on-call rotations. Collaboration with Product Managers, DevOps, and Frontend Engineers is essential to deliver high-quality features. Applying software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews, will be part of your daily tasks. You will contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy, while mentoring junior developers and participating in knowledge-sharing sessions. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on coding skills in Java and Golang. Your experience should include building and maintaining microservices architecture, along with proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments. A strong understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architecture is required. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles, excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.
