As a Senior Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Evaluating the current Selenium framework architecture and recommending enhancements to enhance scalability, reliability, and maintainability. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber. - Creating and implementing new modules or components to expand the framework's functionality based on project requirements. - Developing efficient and robust Selenium test scripts using best practices and design patterns. - Refactoring existing scripts to enhance readability, modularity, and performance. - Demonstrating proficiency in API testing with Rest Assured. - Enhancing the existing automation framework within the team to streamline tasks and boost productivity. - Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Continuously improving QA processes, tasks, and activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Mentoring QA team members by offering guidance on best practices and technical expertise to streamline the existing automation cycle. - Possessing expertise in programming languages such as Java. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins. - Integrating Selenium tests with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for nightly regression testing. - Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. - Basic understanding of DevOps concepts.
