Senior Software Developer

Role Overview: As a software developer at SOTI, you will play a crucial role in decomposing business requirements, designing solutions, writing code, and facilitating final delivery. Your responsibilities will include anticipating customer needs, coaching young developers, recognizing product defects, and re-architecting existing components to address challenges. Additionally, you will be expected to stimulate growth by providing technical guidance in research and development while staying updated on new technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Decompose business requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications and code. - Design solutions, write code, perform unit testing, and develop appropriate documentation. - Coach young developers on software best practices. - Recognize, document, and scrutinize product defects for redesign. - Re-architect existing components to address growth, performance, and scalability challenges. - Provide technical guidance in the research and development of new products and services. - Keep abreast of new developments in technologies to ensure implementation of the best possible solutions. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Computer Science with a strong understanding of math, algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and software architecture. - 5-10 years of professional software development experience in .Net, C#, Angular, and SQL Server. - Experience working with two or more SOTI product components. - Knowledge of emerging technologies and ability to implement advanced technologies. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities in people management, influence, and communication. - Ability to forecast customer requirements and propose architectural improvements/features.
