Job Description

Job Title: Sr Cobol Developer/Lead Experience Level: 6.5 + years Location : Noida - WFO Notice Period - Immediate to 30 Days Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with 6.5 + years of experience programming within a Mainframe environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mainframe architectures, system-level programming, and the ability to design and optimize code for performance. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain programs for critical system components and applications in a Mainframe environment. Write efficient, optimized code, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and hardware architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions. Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure the stability and performance of applications. Work closely with architects and senior developers to design and implement new features or enhancements in alignment with business objectives. Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, system diagrams, and user guides. Experience on Mainframe languages like COBOL, JCL, DB2 or CICS. Familiarity with IBM mainframe environments and related tools. Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Certification in Mainframe programming or related fields.
