Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable and resilient microservices for our utility software solutions. In this role, youll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-native services on AWS. You&aposll also help shape our multi-cloud strategy and promote best practices in cloud development and architecture.

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native microservices using best practices in architecture and security.
• Develop serverless and containerized applications that are scalable, performant, and cost-effective.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments (DEV, STAGE, UAT, NFR, PROD).
• Support automation of infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
• Mentor junior developers on cloud technologies, tools, and practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
  

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 36 years of hands-on experience in cloud-based microservices development.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD workflows, and version control systems.
• Strong experience in programming languages like C# and/or Java
• Experience in scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), across multiple platforms and CPU architectures.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, AWS Glue etc..).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and identity/access management.
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience in developing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
• Experience in Azure cloud infrastructure is advantageous
• Understanding of multi-cloud environments and hybrid deployment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
