Senior Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  
• Plan and coordinate site activities with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  
• Supervise daily construction work and ensure technical quality.
  
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and resolve site issues.
  
• Approve shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documents.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and project specifications.
  
• Monitor progress, materials, manpower, and report to management.
  
• Support procurement, material verification, and vendor coordination.
  
• Control project costs and assist with billing and measurements.
  
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and preparation of as-built documents

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:

• 3 - 8 years of experience in industrial construction projects (e.g., manufacturing plants, power plants, refineries, heavy industrial facilities).
  
• Proven background working with contractor firms.
  

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, project specifications, and industrial construction standards.
  
• Expertise in site execution, technical supervision, and resolving engineering issues.
  
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, safety standards, and inspection procedures.
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership with the ability to guide junior engineers and site teams.
  
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for dealing with clients and consultants.
  
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick technical decisions.
  
• Strong documentation, reporting, and time-management skills.
  

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work on fast-paced, large industrial project sites.
