Job Description

As a Simulation Engineer specializing in CFD and Thermal simulations, your role will involve executing complex simulations to optimize design and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing Multiphysics simulation methods that meet the thermal management requirements of Electronic Systems, particularly in high-speed transceivers, connectors, and their assemblies. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your 5 to 8 years of industry experience to execute complex Thermal simulation models for optimizing manufacturing processes and designs of high-speed IO products. - Demonstrate expertise in Ansys Workbench and CAE tools, along with knowledge of Optimization techniques and testing methods. - Apply your knowledge of material science, including Metals, Resins, and hyper-elastic materials, to implement simulations effectively. - Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to correlate CFD and Thermal Simulation results with physical testing outcomes. - Execute various CFD techniques such as steady, transient, conjugate heat transfer, internal and external flows, electronics cooling, and electro-thermal analysis using tools like Ansys Workbench, Fluent, CFX, Icepak, AEDT, Q3D, etc. - Ensure the maintenance and updating of simulation models to achieve optimal accuracy and relevance. - Translate real-world problems into Thermal models, interpret analysis results, and identify the best solutions. - Stay updated on simulation software capabilities and industry trends to enhance design optimization. - Understand the financial implications of your activities and their impact on decision-making processes. Qualifications Required: - 5 to 8 years of industry experience in CFD and Thermal simulations. - Proficiency in Ansys Workbench. - Experience working with connector products, including Plastic and Sheet Metal parts. - Knowledge of material science, specifically Metals, Resins, and hyper-elastic materials. - Expertise in CAE tools, Optimization techniques, and testing methods. - Familiarity with mechanical design, conductive, convective, and radiation heat transfer, and fluid flow mechanics. - Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) and optimization techniques. The competencies required for this role are focused on SET: Strategy, Execution, and Talent (for managers).,
